Rava Rotti / Rave Rotti (with a demo video)

Posting my first ever home-made video to make banale (ba-na-le`) rotti which literally means rotti on a pan.

Here is the video link for making rotti :

Ingredients :

Chiroti Rava (fine semolina) - 1 cup
Onions (chopped finely) - 3tbsp
Green chilli paste - 1/4 tsp (blend green chilli and salt with adding little water to get chilli paste)
Curry leaves - 10 leaves (chopped finely)
Jeera(Cumin) - 1/4 tsp
Cooconut- 1tbsp (fresh coconut, shredded)
Salt as needed
Water
Oil

You need a thin pan to pat rotti.

Method:
1. Mix rava (semolina), chopped onions, chillipaste, curryleaves, jeera and coconut. Leave it aside for 5 minutes. Mix well again.
2. Oil the pan and take a handful of this mixture and place it in the center of the pan.
3. Sprinkle water and start spreading the mixture evenly around the pan with the tip of you fingers
4. Once you are done, add little oil on the prepared rotti and fry it as shown in the video

Do not mix water and the rotti mixture. By doing this, you will end up having hard rottis.

Enjoy :)
