Broccoli is high in Vit C and dietary Fiber. A single serving of Broccoli provides you more than 30mg of Vit C. Riced Broccoli can used to replace rice in low-carb diabetic diets. Here is how you make Riced Broccoli in three easy streps.
Step 1: Cut Broccoli head into small chunks. Immerse it in cold water for 3-4 minutes. Drain water and pat dry broccoli until dry.
Step 2: Take these Broccoli chunks in a food processor with chopper blade attachment. Run this untill you get find grain-y Broccoli.
If you do not have a food processor, you can use your Blue-Leaf/ Sumeet/Philips mixer grinder and run it using 'pulse' mode to get the same effect.
Step 3:
Remove it to a plate.
You can stir fry this riced broccoli in a non-stick pan without oil for a quick minute and use it to replace rice in your diet.
Riced Broccoli is also used to make Broccoli Parantha, Broccoli Cutlets.
